Additional fees for late filing of XBRL

Please file immediately. Please note that no extension shall be given after 31st December'2011

Last date for filing financial statements in XBRL mode for phase-I class of companies (excluding exempted class) has been extended up to 31.12.2011 or within 60 days of their due date of filing, whichever is later. For details kindly see General Circular No:69/2011 available on MCA portal under News & Events and under heading Act, Bills and Rules

Please note that companies required to file using XBRL filing after December 31,2011, additional fee will be calculated and charged as per their due date for filing of 23AC and 23ACA filings. i.e., from 31st day of date of holding AGM

For example:

Balance sheet end date- 31st March 2011

Date of AGM- 30th Sept. 2011

Due date for filing financial statements: Upto 30th October, 2011 (i.e. 30 days from the AGM date)

Time limit for filing without additional fee in XBRL mode as per MCA circular- Upto 31st December 2011 (i.e. Upto 31st December, 2011 or 60 days from its due date of filing, which is 29th December, 2011 whichever is later)

Therefore, if the company files the financial statements for F.Y. 2010-11 after 31st December, 2011, Additional fee shall be charged w.e.f. the original due date of filing that is after 30th October, 2011 (i.e. 6 times of the normal fee as per additional fee rules)
